The Sicilian city of Messina abounds in a rich history and has a very laid back and relaxing charm. Read up on this city before we arrive to ensure you're well versed when you venture out to explore it!

Palermo, Italy

Palermo, the capital of the Italian island of Sicily. The 12th-century Palermo Cathedra, home to several royal tombs and the huge neoclassical Teatro Massimo is known for opera performances. In the centre are the Palazzo dei Normanni, a royal palace started in the 9th century and the Cappella Palatina, complete with incredible Byzantine mosaics that will enrich you with inspiration for years to come. Busy markets include the central Ballarò street market and the Vucciria, near the port. The perfect city to get lost in, wander through the streets and take your time to explore the hidden gems of this incredible location

Marsala, Italy

Bathed in history is this sleepy town of Marsala. After spending hours viewing the scenery of the sparkling Italian coastline it's now time to explore this town and its historical sights. It's not only action and touring when with Storylines, we place a huge focus on culture and experience. Wander off with a group of new friends to find the best ristoranté, visit a local deli and wander the streets, staring at stars and soft candlelight before heading back home to your ship for the night.

Sciacca, Italy

You choose to relax onboard today to catch up on life in general. After a nutritious breakfast enjoyed on board, you enjoy a massage and your book by the pool. At lunch you learn of an amazing fish market in town, so you head down for a visit to pick up some fresh seafood that you'll cook with friends tonight in one of the dozens of resident lounges aboard the ship. Whilst out, you see some friends heading to the famous Museo del Giocattolo - AKA - The toy museum. Sounds like a bit of fun, so why not go! The night is then spent, back at your home, drinking great wine which your friends have collected on their winery tour that day, swapping stories of adventure well into the evening.

San Leone, Italy

Lying just below the city that showcases the splendid Valley of the Temples - San Leone is the most-loved seaside resort in the area. Slightly north in Porto Empedocle is the birthplace of Luigi Pirandello, the playwright and author who won a Nobel Prize for Literature - His home is now a literary park.Known as a fishing village, residents are able to source fresh local fish species to try out in one of the lounge kitchens, or perhaps partake in a demonstration by a local fishmonger, who's able to come onboard and teach a class of savvy aspiring chefs the best fish preparation methods in Italy! The town's name is in honor of Pope Leone II - a Sicilian. Long before, however, it was a Greek port, and remains of that era can still be seen in the pieces of the old port and dry dock still standing. Under attack by the Arabs over the centuries, the town was fortified and in the middle-ages was even home to an important monastery. Today, it draws worshippers of the sunshine and clean water!

Valletta, Malta

Malta is a beautiful archipelago in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African coast. It's a nation known for historic sites related to a succession of rulers including the Romans, Moors, Knights of Saint John, then French and the British. It has numerous fortresses, megalithic temples and the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum - a subterranean complex of halls and burial chambers dating to circa 4000 B.C! Malta also offers an array of shopping locations and street markets - perfect to get lost in, while finding a bargain or that special something. With crystal clear waters all through the year, the adventure seekers won't be disappointed either.

Sea Day

After an incredible time exploring the cities and ports of Malta and Italy you will welcome a slower paced schedule at sea for a day. Slightly different to your days simply in residence, your days at sea will be spent cruising at the sustainable speed of around 12 knots, we'll pass by some lovely coastlines of southern Italy so take in some Champagne and Oysters on the deck and enjoy one of the most picturesque coastlines in the world. Take this time to relax and catch up on regular life for a day. Catch up on some emails perhaps, spend time with family or in the office. Grab a deep tissue massage and lounge by the pool, before taking up a cooking class in the market garden.

Sometimes the smaller cities and destinations get left out, but when you have time on your side you get to explore like no one else that has ever come before. The coastal city of Bari has so much to offer the wanderlust traveler.

Pescara, Italy

Hanging just off the coast of one of Italy's most renowned action spots we find beach bars and hip clubs. Choose to have a few drinks and dance on a table, or just to sit this one out and read a book poolside to prepare yourself for the week ahead.

Castello di Gradara - POI

This is the day to catch up with a tour group that left for a trip to the local hilltop castle! A medieval castle with brickwork turrets, battlements & a museum of history are in the spotlight here, offering an astonishing glimpse into the past of the town's residents. Others may choose to go ashore and enjoy the sandy beaches and cafe areas around the marina.

San Marino

A part of the Apennine mountain range, San Marino will definitely not disappoint! With no flat land to be seen anywhere, the landscape here is one not to be missed. Why not stay overnight in a hotel and meet some locals in the cafe strips late at night, then hit some local fresh produce markets to buy some supplies for the feast you have planned with friends the next night - it's your turn to cook and you want to impress.

Venice

What needs to be said about the famous city of Venice... They say that entering the area of Venice by water is one of the most magical things you can do on the planet, most likely you'll be talking around the dinner table for weeks about this one.. No need to rush off the ship when we arrive, you'll have days here to explore and get to know the locals like old friends... If you’re still not done when it's time to leave, then call ahead, let the crew know you'll be staying behind and catch up with everyone in the next port of Koper in Slovenia just a short 2 hours by car. This is your global lifestyle, why rush? Take a few extra days and tour the coastline hugging Italy, Slovenia and into Croatia, meet back in Rijeka before our island hopping begins..

A busy port town in Slovenia, Koper has a great atmosphere and relaxed population. Known for its piazza squares and eating out in the summer, this is a great place to unwind after a busy few days in Venice. Take a tour inland and see some of the most beautiful unspoiled mountainous ranges, lakes and natural beauty in the world.

Game fishing and windsurfing - POI

Time to dial up the adrenaline! This region is known for its adventure and water sports. Today local fishing charter boats meet you on marina deck 4 and take you to the best spots to catch the biggest game fish. Cook them up later that night for your friends and tell tales of the ones that got away. Feeling even more adventurous? There is wind and kite surfing too.

Rijeka, Croatia

As some of the other residents catch back up to the ship after an extended stay in Venice - you get a group together and head out to explore the incredibly mountainous area of Rijeke. Stopping by a small Pizzeria, you stumble across the biggest pizza on earth - just as well you have your new travel buddies in tow to share the experience or they'd never believe you!

Krk Island, Croatia

Today is the first day for over a month that you can sit back and enjoy the peace of life at sea. As the captain finds a suitable anchor location the ship is made ready for a big day ahead - Marina access to all the toys and tenders is prepared, and hours of tours and sightseeing commences. There are loads of hikes on the islands plus snorkeling and scuba for the water lovers. Besides, what trip around the mediterranean would be complete without some classic island hopping - We just do it in style from our ship. We spend the next 3 days wandering around the islands, finding locations to rest and play as we head south.

POI - Cave diving

Making the most of clear blue waters in this gorgeous location, you and a group of your Storylines community, scuba enthusiasts are picked up by boat and local dive masters and transported to the incredible Katedrala Cave on Premuda Island. A Top 10 rated dive site - here you can dive down to 30m through a network of caves and back up 'the chimney' a narrow long hole big enough for just one diver at a time.

Sali Island, Croatia

Head down to Deck 4 to see what the crew are saying about the local dive locations and water visibility - book in a scuba dive for the afternoon and go for a kayak around the headland while you wait. Later that day the tender takes you and a small group of water lovers to a place that you're going to remember forever! Dugi Otok - a dive location with deep drop offs, wrecks and more species than you can imagine. Arriving back at the boat, dried and delighted a few hours later, you head straight back to show off your recent photos - the gear is all taken care of by the dive team and your personal property is delivered back to your unit later that evening.

Split, Croatia

After an active few days it's time to chill out. Split is the perfect place to take all the time you need to rest. Of course with over 350,000 people living in this city you can find whatever you need or want here. Like many places, you can do 'the sights' in a full day if pushed, but these places really come alive at night. Go explore some of the winding streets, discover labyrinths throughout the city and get yourself spectacularly lost.

Beach bonfires - POI

A great place to relax and enjoy the magical coastline of Croatia, a local favorite for super yachts and now residential cruise ships. Here we setup a number of beach bonfires with music and BBQ dinner - We throw a large beach party for all to enjoy. Enjoy the open fires with a glass of wine and some great live music or have a dance on the beach under the stars with some friends.

Korčula, Croatia

This large island is relatively isolated from the mainland. This provides an amazing atmosphere when you arrive on land - as not many vessels are able to stop here. Have a great time on the island with all of the locals, eager to assist in your search of a great time.

Slano, Croatia

The vessel will be anchored in the port area today, so you'll have easy access to the city or island destinations. Here you'll have the chance to visit one of the many olive-growing, viniculture, fruit-growing, tobacco and herb farms which are the main occupations in this area of land. Search for a special something to bring back to the ship, or just relax in the town or onboard as you choose. With fine sunny weather this area has loads to offer.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik is a city in southern Croatia fronting the Adriatic Sea. Known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century - Its well-preserved buildings range from baroque St. Blaise Church, to Renaissance Sponza Palace and Gothic Rector’s Palace - now a fascinating history museum. Take your time to wander the streets on this 2 night stop over.

Kotor, Montenegro

Cruising 20 miles inland we find this peaceful city surrounded by incredible mountains and scenery like no other. Take a hike up to the fortifications for the best views around, or get lost exploring the back streets of this port city. For those wanting more, hire a car and take a drive to the great lake of Skadar and the fertile lands to the south, where the lake and adjoining river run out to the sea and meet back up with us onboard at our next stop in Albania

One of the fastest growing places in Europe, this place is known for its beaches and as a serious tourism hotspot. A great place to get vibed in after a relaxing few weeks down the coasts of the Adriatic sea.

Corfu, Greece

Our 2 week tour through Greece starts here - On the northern area of the beautiful Corfu. Literally translated from Greek as 'Place with Peaks' it will not disappoint - for the nature lovers this area also boasts some of the greenest vegetation in all of Greece. Take a day cruise from Corfu south to the tiny islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. These two islands, considered the gems of the Ionian sea, are famous for their blue caves, fishing villages, and crystal clear waters and offer great swimming or snorkeling opportunities

Ithaca, Greece

While this place is home to one of ancient Greek’s epic poems, Homer’s Odyssey - It is also symbolic of human struggles, temptations and goals. With the return to Ithaca marking the end of the adventure it does not mean it is the end of yours - as you sail well into your 2nd month with over 7 countries. Greece is all about food, wine and a seriously good time, so take a moment, find yourself a quiet place of your own and read a book, catch up on some work or just relax with friends.

Patras, Greece

Join in the festivities of the Patras Carnival - unique in the country it is one of the largest in Europe with a riot of masquerade balls, games and parades attended by tens of thousands of people, as well as all manner of unofficial side events.

Githio, Greece

When you talk about small traditional towns - It's hard to imagine one better than this. Mostly forgotten by the tourism crowds, we make a stop here to soak in some culture and break up a long journey - long for Storylines at least. Arriving in the afternoon we set anchor in the calm bay just off shore and allow our residents to make the most of the long sunsets in the marina. Alternatively, go ashore and sample the best local cuisine - Greek food at its best.

Spetses Port, Greece

The tiny port of Dapia is overlooked by whitewashed, Neoclassical houses and fringed by smart cafés and stylish boutiques. This is an island where your senses immediately come alive! The air, refreshingly warm, carries the smell of the sea one moment, then freshly baked pastries the next. Challenge a local as they play backgammon in the shade or drink an espresso or frappé like the locals.

Palaia Epidavros

The best example of ancient acoustics is found at The Great Theatre of Epidaurus - listen to a whisper on center stage from the last row - it’s incredible! Then once finished here, perhaps take a car or join a tour to drive back towards Athens and over the Corinth Canal and witness some smaller vessels navigate this narrow passage - before finishing in Athens where you can meet back up with the Storylines ship the next day.

In a place where time has stood still for millenia, you may find yourself lost in amazement as you wander this city. Take a day to visit the Vatican and sit on a charming side street eating pizza and watching the world go by in front of you.

At our first island stop after an action packed week in Athens - take a well earned rest on one of the best local islands. Of course there is plenty to see and do for those who still want a little more. On day 2 here a few friends catch back up to the vessel after taking a little longer in Athens and taking one of the many ferry services. Listen to their stories over a long lunch on deck, as you watch the sun go down over pristine blue water.

Santorini

The highlight of the Greek islands is stunning Santorini. Visit Kamari beach, Amoudi bay, the ruins of the Ancient cities of Thira & Akrotiri or work your tan on sun drenched beaces with backdrops of the warmest clear blue waters. Dine on fresh local fish, or dive and spot them yourself. You will never want to leave.

Gallipoli, Turkey

Residents wishing to participate in the ANZAC COVE area tour will disembark at Kabatepe for a full day of sightseeing, while the rest of the ship's residents will continue on around the cape to the small city of Eceabat. Here you can enjoy your first tastes of Turkey - Meeting back up with the tour group later in the evening to learn all about their day, there is no rush as we overnight here, so take your time and enjoy.

A short stop to break up our journey. This tiny but charming city is loaded with agriculture and offers a perfect place to relax and unwind

Istanbul, Turkey

Istanbul is one of the most important places in the world. Its Old City reflects cultural influences of the many empires that once ruled here. The Grand Bazaar, the Roman-era Hippodrome, Egyptian obelisks, and the Byzantine Hagia Sophia with its soaring 6th-century dome and rare Christian mosaics. Close your eyes and imagine yourself in the mysticism of the East melded with the modernity of the West, the constant time travel between past and the future, the balance of the traditional and the contemporary.
