New Governance Framework and Board Composition
Storylines’ shareholders (87.85% quorum present) have unanimously elected a board of directors and a new chairman of the board to enhance the company’s expertise in maritime operations and sustainability, strengthen accountability, and drive innovation. The board comprises leaders with decades of experience in shipbuilding, maritime operations, and sustainable navigation, positioning Storylines for longevity within the residential travel industry. The new members bring expertise in environmental stewardship, corporate governance, and maritime industry leadership to drive the company’s progress while advocating diversity and equitable decision-making.
Meet the Board Members
Alister Punton
Co-founder and CEO of Storylines, Punton has over 20 years of experience in business planning, real estate development, and technology. He has a proven track record of revitalizing enterprises and driving growth, culminating in the founding of Storylines to redefine sustainable residential living at sea.
Dick Rosman
Newly elected chairman of the board and co-founder of Storylines, Rosman has nearly 50 years in the marine industry, including co-founding a heavy-lift shipping company and managing global shipbuilding contracts. His extensive maritime expertise supports Storylines’ innovative residential cruise line operations.
Grant Holmes
A cruise industry veteran, Holmes leads the global ‘Cruise Solutions’ team at Inchcape Shipping Services, overseeing 12,000+ annual ship calls. His career spans shipbuilding, destination development, and consultancy, making him a key contributor to Storylines’ strategic direction.
Hampton Bridwell
Bridwell brings 25 years of experience in branding, business strategy, and corporate communications. As CEO of Tenet Partners and founder of CorebrandAI, he has worked with global companies like IBM and Mastercard, enhancing Storylines’ brand and governance focus.
Shannon Lee
A co-founder of Storylines, Lee has 20 years of expertise in real estate, technology, and consulting. He founded Storylines to create a unique lifestyle-based residential experience at sea, leveraging his deep industry connections to drive the company’s vision and growth.
Bethany Hunter
Hunter, a startup veteran with 19 years of experience, provides insights as a future resident of Storylines’ MV Narrative. She focuses on ESG initiatives, operational strategy, communication, compliance and resident relations.
Marco Spaziani
A seasoned maritime leader, Spaziani has 20+ years of experience in cruise ship interiors and supply chain management. He has completed over 200 projects in the marine industry, bringing deep industry knowledge to Storylines’ vision.
Specialized Committees Established
As part of the restructuring, Storylines has established the following key committees to ensure focused oversight and governance
- Audit Committee: Responsible for overseeing financial reporting, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Compensation Committee: Charged with aligning executive compensation with company performance, shareholder interests, and long-term sustainability goals
- Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee: Focused on selecting qualified board members, ensuring diversity, and driving governance best practices.
